LifeSize Multipoint MCU Series
LifeSize Multipoint is a series of MCUs (Multipoint Conference Units) that connect multiple sites for large scale, simultaneous HD video conferencing. The Multipoint 230 facilitates HD video conferencing for up to 30 sites while the Multipoint acts as a bridge for up to 12 or 24 sites.
Both Multipoint MCUs offer organisations a total infrastructure solution delivering not only HD bridging, but optimum bandwidth utilisation with the LifeSize Gatekeeper and the ability to extend the video conference out to remote workers quickly and easily with the LifeSize Multipoint Extension.
For the optimal infrastructure solution, organisations can combine the LifeSize Multipoint 230 and Multipoint solutions with LifeSize Gateway for ISDN video conferencing integration, LifeSize Transit for secure firewall traversal and LifeSize Control for multi vendor video system management.

The LifeSize Multipoint 230 is a superior MCU bridge that enables up to 30 sites to participate in HD 1080p 30 fps or up to 15 sites in HD 720p 30 fps for natural, immersive multiparty conferencing. Highly flexible, the Multipoint 230's HD capacity effectively doubles when extending 1080p 30 video conferences into 720p 30 conferences.
The Multipoint 230 is truly scalable - a total of 120 sites can connect at any one time at 352p 30 fps enabling even more teams to collaborate simultaneously at no additional cost. There is a unique layout available for each participant, offering more choice for users. Plus, administrators and users alike will benefit from the simplified interface which makes calling, managing and navigating through the system easy and intuitive.
