Videonations is joined by LifeSize and Tandberg videoconferencing manufacturers to showcase how video communication solutions enhance learning and communications in schools.

UK – October 2008 – Videonations is pleased to announce that its presence at the BETT 2009 show will be supported by two leading videoconferencing manufacturers, LifeSize and Tandberg.

This unique approach aims to give visitors to the Videonations C80 stand a taste of how video communications is used within education. The collaboration will see experts from LifeSize, Tandberg and Videonations demonstrate video conferencing solutions applicable to the issues and concerns that are prevalent within the secondary and primary educational sectors.

Also present on the Videonations C80 stand will be the Northern Grid for Learning, one of thirteen National Education Network providers. The Northern Grid team will be demonstrating its freely accessible online resources, providing seminars on eSafety and the use of learning platforms. Visitors will also be able to find out about the exciting projects developed by North East schools which are now being rolled out.

Adrian Hancock, Director of Technology at Videonations commented:

"Head teachers, teachers and students alike will not fail to be impressed by the countless innovative uses of videoconferencing present in schools today. We have so many stories to tell – such as how students are experiencing enhanced learning via live video links from prominent national and international institutions. The fact that Videonations has managed to bring suppliers and customers together onto one stand not only substantiates our customer-focused offering of being 100% supplier neutral; it is testament to their confidence in us and their own product offerings".
