UK – 10 February 2009 – In-line with steady growth and a recently refreshed business proposition, Videonations is investing in its business in order to help others reduce costs and increase productivity.

First up is the new website: www.videonations.com which showcases all five of Videonations’ propositions; Videoconferencing, Audio Visual, VoIP, Connectivity & Outsourced Managed Services with High Definition (HD) videoconferencing remaining the core focus. Ian Carter, Managing Director says, “Although it was obvious through our old website that we specialise in videoconferencing equipment, it wasn’t so obvious that we’re a value added reseller and offer a full service wrap including installation, maintenance, IP connectivity and outsourced managed services.”

Annee Sian, Marketing Manager adds “The new portal has a clean and fresh look and centres on ease of navigation with an intuitive approach to search via comprehensive menus. The website talks plainly and informatively about why businesses wishing to improve intercompany and client communications while reducing travel budgets, should embrace videoconferencing. It breaks down each solution by application, manufacturer and sector and contains up to date information on videoconferencing hardware and software products from partner suppliers: LifeSize, Tandberg, Radvision, Polycom, Aethra, Sony and VidSoft.”

The website is also a launching platform for Videonations’ new VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) division headed up by one of the industry’s most experienced telephony experts. Ian Lev, Senior Business Development Manager at Videonations says “Videonations’ expertise in video communications and connectivity lends itself perfectly to its recent expansion into offering integrated IP solutions. And what’s more is that we are committed to supplying ShoreTel, one of the best, if not the best IP telephony systems to come into the industry in the last five years in my opinion. If any business is looking to renew or expand their current telephone system in the next 12 months, I would advise them to check out our ShoreTel solution.”

Telepresence London - Videopresence
Videonations is also investing heavily in its demonstration facilities in order to showcase the most seamless meeting experience available. Ian Carter says, “In the current economic climate where cutting costs and return on investment are all-important, HD videoconferencing has never been more business critical. The best way to get this message across is to personally demonstrate how HD videoconferencing delivers a natural meeting experience that matches any face-to-face to meeting.”

Due for completion in early Spring, the ambitious project will see Videonations being able to offer its own in-house, fully interactive ‘telepresence’ experience called Videopresence(TM). The project involves the renovation of two rooms, one at the head office site and the other at the newly acquired London office in Tooley Street, London Bridge. The London and Manchester suites will look identical and be equipped with the latest in HD videoconferencing technology. Both boardrooms will have a luxurious look and feel and will be available to buy at an industry-first price point.
