web Collaboration

web Collaboration is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two-way Multipoint transmissions simultaneously. It has also been called web collaboration and is a type of groupware.
Increased global competition, globalisation of suppliers and customers, and widely distributed work forces, has resulted in ever-shrinking time-to-market intervals.

There simply isn't time to gather essential personnel for face-to-face meetings. On the other hand, the slow economy has increased the need to cut costs for expensive and time-consuming road, rail and air travel.

The recent potential for bio-terror and other security fears, have only added to the need to find effective alternatives, to frequent business travel. Better communications and enhanced productivity are essential, to meet these constantly increasing threats and time pressures.
Sending personnel to distant meetings is no longer efficient, given the availability of low-cost, high-quality web Collaboration capabilities.

Time and Cost reduction are an obvious benefit, as is easy access to key personnel, no matter where they happen to be. Equally importantly is the ability to hold meetings with geographically dispersed personnel, fostering stronger team building, enhanced partner relations, less down time, and more efficient working practice.
