Both accreditations, carried out by independent certification body CQS (Certified Quality Systems) Ltd, for Videonations’ Head Office based in Altrincham, Cheshire, will also apply to the company’s new London based office due to open this summer.
The ISO 9001:2000 certificate is only awarded to companies that can demonstrate their ability to consistently meet customer and other stakeholder requirements, with customer satisfaction being a key component. The ISO 14001 standard applies to the environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence.
The scope of the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance is in keeping with Videonations’ mission to: ‘Provide customer satisfaction through professional excellence, giving commercial success and employee fulfilment.’
“We are delighted to be ISO certified for both quality and environmental management excellence,” said Ian Carter, Videonations’ Managing Director. “The 9001 certificate proves beyond doubt that Videonations can deliver a class-leading level of service to all customers, irrespective of their location.
“Achieving ISO 14001 accreditation is a clear testimony to Videonations’ commitment to the environment. It substantiates our core proposition, which is to help our customers reduce their carbon impact through video conferencing, and comes at a time when we are about to launch an office in Central London, which will help us manage our own carbon emissions.”
