ShoreTel has announced that for the sixth year in a row it has been named the Best IP Telephony Provider in the Nemertes PilotHouse Awards – Top Providers, IP Telephony 2009.
Manchester, UK 26 November 2009 – Altrincham based videoconferencing, audio visual and VoIP integrator Videonations Ltd is pleased to support its partner’s recent achievement based entirely on the views and experiences of actual customers. The Nemertes PilotHouse awards program for IP telephony provides independent insight into how well vendors perform in the eyes of their business customers.
This year, the 2009 IP Telephony Nemertes report rated 39 IP telephony vendors and summarises input from IT practitioners with knowledge of the IP telephony products in their organisations in five main areas of value, customer service, technology, management tools and ease of installation and trouble shooting.
According to the report, ShoreTel “has created a solid customer experience. ShoreTel has scored at the top in every ratings category since Nemertes began tracking IP telephony vendor performance six years ago. This year is no different as ShoreTel won every ratings category. ShoreTel’s key driver continues to be its value, with a 4.31 rating. Customers routinely praise their purchases of ShoreTel equipment as providing an exceptional set of features and a highly resilient architecture at both lower upfront and ongoing costs than its competitors. Its distributed architecture provides for redundancy at an affordable price.”
Ian Carter, Managing Director of Videonations says, “As satisfied users of the ShoreTel system, we’re delighted ShoreTel came out on top in the eyes of those who count. Listening to our customers was in effect, how our partnership with ShoreTel began. Adding VoIP integration to our capabilities was a natural progression and enabled us to provide customers such as the North West Ambulance Service a unified video and voice solution that will help their staff communicate, respond and collaborate more effectively.”
