Manchester, UK 3 September 2009 – Altrincham based Videonations Ltd further establishes itself as a leading and progressive high definition (HD) videoconferencing specialist as it announces it is the first reseller to source and implement the industry’s most powerful standards based conferencing platform from RADVISION.
RADVISION, the pioneering visual communications infrastructure and desktop solutions manufacturer unveiled the SCOPIA Elite series that delivers a combination of 1080p, 720p and H.264 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) in June 2009. Utilising the latest in DSP technology, SCOPIA Elite supports 1080p processing, telepresence connectivity, dynamic resource allocation, and individual video layouts for each participant yielding uncompromised high definition support.
Following on from becoming a direct partner in early July, Videonations received a shipment hot off the production line of the SCOPIA Elite 5230. Videonations has since been busy implementing the 30 high-definition port MCU into its data centre so that its managed service customers can receive improved services such as multipoint bridging and remote desktop services as well as being able to take advantage of high definition quality.
